It Was 9 Hours Ago Today
It was 9 hours ago today that my second son, Joseph Giovanni Altobelli entered this thing called life. In other words, at 9:15 this morning Joey was born. If you read my earlier post you'll know that forty years ago today I was born. Wow, I never thought turing 40 would be so cool.

Ok - so clearly I left you that voice mail message before I saw the email announcement. Damn it, you always know that I can never remember your exact b-day date. I'm terrible, huh?! But how cool your birthday was on the same day! Too cool for school. Little Joey is waaaayy tooo cute. Not surprising looking at his parents. He's gonna give little Michael a run for his money. I have been thinking about how busy you must be right now, with fond memories of the first few days after my kids were born. I remember holding a friend's newborn recently and being amazed at how small and lite the baby was.

Just a note to congratulate you on your 40th birthday and the birth of Joseph Giovanni. As usual, it was great to see the old gang, Although we don't get to see each other as often as we would like, it is good to know that my first friends are still some of my best friends.
